Yes. All text content, formatting, layout, and document structure are preserved. Only embedded images are removed.

How much will the file size decrease?

The reduction depends on how many images the PDF contains. Image-heavy documents can see 80-95% file size reduction.

Can I selectively remove some images?

The current tool removes all images from the document. For selective removal, use our Edit PDF tool to cover specific images.

Are background images removed too?

Yes. All image objects in the PDF are removed, including those used as page backgrounds.

Does removing images affect the layout?

The text layout is preserved, but spaces where images were will appear empty.
